About the Role:
In this role, you’ll take the lead in managing and coordinating all aspects of the company’s IT department. You’ll provide technical expertise and guidance to your team, ensuring efficient and secure IT systems and processes are in place. The successful candidate will possess a strong combination of technical skills, leadership experience, and a collaborative approach.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, encompassing infrastructure, software development, and IT support.
- Offer technical leadership and direction to your IT team, fostering the development and implementation of effective and secure IT systems and processes.
- Manage the design, development, and deployment of custom software applications and web-based solutions that align with the company’s business goals.
- Provide effective project management from start to finish, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate closely with various departments to understand and address their IT needs and requirements.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of the company’s IT infrastructure.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, recommending and implementing solutions to enhance the company’s IT capabilities.
- Mentor and develop your IT team members, fostering their growth and skills.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related matters, effectively communicating with stakeholders and resolving IT issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a full-stack developer with expertise in a wide range of programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.
- Proven experience in leading and managing an IT department, with a successful track record in project management and team leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex IT issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for successful collaboration with various teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, software development life cycles (SDLCs), and IT infrastructure management.
